For the record (ha!), French hip hop is my favourite of all the "international" flavours. Some excellent DJs and producers and there's something about the smoothness of the accent that coincides very well with my tastes. Not understanding French and so not having to worry about problematic lyrics may add to the appeal;)
- zhengyi13 3y agoFor anyone following along at home, MC Solaar might be a really good entry point into French Hiphop. Give La concubine de l'hémoglobine a try - talk about smooth.
- cookie_monsta 3y agoSolaar is super smooth. If you're looking for a little edge I'd recommend Les Sages Poètes de la rue. Gènèral P is on high rotation at my place
