DHH: Turns Out Nobody Cared About Panel Gaps
- rmason 3y agoI think that he is wrong here. For a long time Tesla was the only game in town if you wanted to buy an EV. People were willing to overlook panel gaps to be able to purchase an EV. Moving forward with real competition Tesla will be judged on panel gaps just like any other car company. But Tesla has built an incredible moat with their charging stations. Apparently no one else has been able to build a nationwide network of fast and reliable chargers which explains why both Ford and GM have paid to join.
