Thus you can work offline if you also setup Git on your local machine. 3.) "Cloud" = can access from everywhere as long as you have the internet and browser, so you HDD crash? No worries, buy new HDD, access to the internet and you can continue your development straight away because your file is there. 4.) You know where you host your stuffs: koding.
