I guess my thinking is just that the company has given the union a really good “first issue” for the union to tackle. If you just signed up to unionize, and then you get told you’re going to get fired unless you move, why would you not try out collective action? Even if they threaten firing people for participating in some sort of collective action, you were already going to get fired.
