It's certainly hyped but it doesn't appear that everyone is "doing AI" at a scale that the article suggests. Instead I see a lot of "using AI" talk since that's easier to do, simple API calls. Which means a lot of wealth flow towards a small handful of companies. Let me know if I've misunderstood.
