They talk about how they made money as a consultant and decided out of the kindness of their hearts to teach others. What's clear is that the money the majority of them made wasn't from "doing the thing" but rather from the course that they're teaching. Then someone takes the course and copies + puts their own spin on it. Rinse and repeat.
