I am a parent of two, and I honestly don't understand these kind of posts. When a child comes home excited about some great marks, all we say is "Awesome, good for you" and celebrate the moment. Then at 7pm when the child comes back from play, we sit down for home assignments and whatever needs to be studied next. EDIT: minor typo
