I figure you're just trolling, and probably wasting my time, but I can assure you that environmental groups are not trying to make people miserable. In fact, many don't care about people at all. They care about the environment. They expect people to adjust their lives to preserve it. If people choose to be miserable because they can't have everything, or have to make do with less, well then, that their problem.
