Conversely I trust Microsoft and Apple more because their motivations are also clear, and less in conflict with my interests. I’ve no doubt that Google, Microsoft, and Apple are all equally horrible when it comes to negotiations behind-the-scenes. I’m sure they abuse KPIs as much as each other. As a customer none of that matters to me.
