It is, maybe you aren't a good developer (yet). The more you do it, the easier it gets. It took me a good time to change from PHP to Python, but from there to Java, JavaScript, C#, Clojure and some 10 more, it only got easier. Toolchain frameworks, idiosyncrasies, foot guns, best practices also follow patterns and gets easier to learn.
