"can run linux if you want" - but it's difficult enough that most of us just give up and run one or the other and it's definitely not user friendly enough to ever teach a relative. I've been a casual Linux user for 25 years now. I've officially given up dualbooting. One software update by Microsoft or accidental EFI change the house of cards seems to fall apart.
- packetlost 3y agoidk, I've been dual booting for awhile with secure boot and haven't had any issues. It was definitely less stable like 10 years ago sure, but nowadays I think a lot of the wrinkles have been ironed out.
- uwagar 3y agolive usb with persistence on the usb stick itself or on hdd partition running windows works like a charm. save your data on the hdd. im on mx linux and life is such a breath of fresh air.
