I like to think that at some in the near future, probably when temperatures rise to the danger level a majority of the time, people will stop trying to cool entire buildings/structures and instead start wearing low-cost and low-energy personal cooling vests. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-019-09707-8 https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-019-09707-8 I’m surprised they aren’t already readily available, to be honest. It’s fairly low tech at the first order.
