I wonder how could any semi rational person downvote this comment? Why would you think outsourcing your immigration policy to people's smugglers could ever be a good idea? Forcing people to risk their lives by giving them the impression that they will be allowed to stay if they give up all of their (and possibly their extended family's saving to people smugglers who are just likely to literally sell them so slavery) just seems extremely cruel..
