Having a 4 year degree in Japanese from some random US flyover state isn’t going to make you fluent enough to translate business contracts anyway. I studied 4 years at a higher-rated university and could barely get by in the language until I studied a lot more on my own

- fghorow 3y agoWhile I suspect that your point is indeed valid, I think that contracts are a special case. Heck, I'm a native English speaker with graduate degrees, and even I can't understand many legal contracts written (ostensibly) in my native tongue. In other words, hire a bilingual lawyer for that stuff...
