China and the United States are so dependent on each other that neither country will ever get out of debt nor will either country ever "recall the debts for cash payment" as this would be almost impossible to actually do, and likely to crash the world economy, but both countries are constantly importing and exporting goods to each other and the world.
If these two countries lacked a demand for each other, if unemployment was so bad that nothing was being produced, than maybe it might crash. As we saw during COVID-19, supply and demand issues took place, as well as an eventual instability within the stock market, some of it may have been caused by China, but everything eventually recovered.
China has a huge investment in other Asian countries and they hopped on to development for a lot of African countries, often sending their own people to work there and providing loans that may be somewhat almost impossible for those impoverished countries to pay back, so the Chinese workers send money back home, where it is spent within the walls of China.
China has a habit of trying to keep their money within and only spending on their own economy... its just a communist way of thinking, despite the fact that they opened pandora's box several decades ago, but without doing that, they probably wouldn't have advanced technology or the massive infrastructure they do.
While there may be some actions or events that might cause supply and demand issues, it just seems very unlikely that China or the American economy is going to come to a complete crash, though over the next decade, China is facing an aging population that may reduce the workforce for some time.
