Call of Duty needs longer than one year of lifecycle between rotating studios. Every release, the game is broken in one fashion or another. MWII, for example, had a largely broken user interface, with elements not working at all (can't click them). Then there are all of the game play bugs, which often got worse over time, or remained in game for a long time. Ground War in MWI 2019 was often a victim of this when they would make updates to Warzone (a completely different 'game' using a shared engine).
And then there are all of the regressions, either between studio releases, or more commonly after a patch.
Based on the various studios behavior, I stopped playing CoD. Battlebit is my go-to now for large scale combat. Not really any noticeable bugs in moment-to-moment gameplay, which is awesome for a dev team of _four_.
