And if you think building a business will mostly be fulfilling because it's developing tech, you need to realize you are suffering from the Coffee Shop Fallacy. It's going to be even more of a grind than your current position - just different, answering angry customer support, finding ways people try to scam you, dealing with ad accounts and SEO and taxes and payroll. If you are unable or unwilling to make a mindset shift, stick with your day job because you are just seeing the greener side of the pasture. Now, if you can see the opportunity and want to take the risk - then go for it. But you can't be as risk-afraid as you sound in these messages.
