Well no, we’re special and the universe exists for our pleasure.

- s1artibartfast 3y agoWhy not? The universe is a blank canvas upon which we can write our own purpose. Human pleasure seems like as good of a start as any.
- ornornor 3y agoBecause we tend to do this at the expense of every other living thing. It’s also very presumptuous.
- s1artibartfast 3y agoI think the most effective motivation to keep nature and life has historically been to maintain it for human pleasure Similarly I don't think there is anything to offend with presumption, or at least anything that cares.
