I think this is going to be one of the important uses of AI -- therapy bots. Just having someone to seem like they're listening (ELIZA was kind of on to something -- but this is the chance to actually have meaningful interaction rather than just conversational tricks).

- steve_adams_86 3y agoI hope it’s not. I think we need people to connect directly with one another, not move further away from doing so. If in our more intimate moments we’re interfacing with machines, I have the sense that we will be losing more than gaining something.
