- sanderjd 3y agoYeah I was 14 way before anyone had heard the word "instagram", and people were pretty obsessed with being attractive as a means to being able to express and experiment with budding sexuality. Social media seems to make this worse, but mostly when this stuff comes up I just think "same as it ever was...".
- poisonborz 3y agoThey shouldn't be worried, but it puts a lot of unwanted attention on them. They start to see it as a measurement and a prime metric to be judged by. I saw a lot of otherwise magnificent personalities bend because of how groups pressed them into roles.
