On the one hand, being an outcast and not having nearly any friends led me to an (eventual) strong sense of self-worth and decent street smarts. Being picked on, beat up, and bullied has definitely left some scars, and left me socially way behind the curve, but I don't think I would trade my experiences for anybody else's.
