Why do whistles have a little ball inside them?
- dqv 3y agoLove the Fox40s - although I did notice that some people have a little trouble getting the hang of whistling with them. There were a few people I knew who had to use the pea whistles because they didn't want to/couldn't learn how use the pealess whistles.
- FirmwareBurner 3y agoPhone speakers also have tiny foam balls inside of them. https://www.reddit.com/r/mobilerepair/comments/jv9kxg/just_replaced_an_iphone_8_speaker_and_decided_to/ https://www.reddit.com/r/mobilerepair/comments/jv9kxg/just_r...
- sublinear 3y ago> Please don't post comments saying that HN is turning into Reddit. It's a semi-noob illusion, as old as the hills. Are we still as sure of that today as we were when this was written?
- karmakaze 3y agoSince Reddit is a moving target, the statement may always be true while never being Reddit. There is a trend with growing popularity. In the past Ask posts for other sites used to get some interesting responses, but not of late.
