How to avoid learning new things as a software engineer
- chadcmulligan 3y agoA lot of this stuff is just plumbing, I feel it avoids the hard part of software - developing applications. Like it's quite easy to get on the new stuff roundabout, its a lot harder to develop an application, so developers focus on the new stuff because its comparatively well defined, the old developer perhaps realises this intuitively.
