This is a cool idea, and you seem genuine. One thing I'm not clear about is how you achieve the claimed privacy. You said the user id data is separated from the user voice data and can't be matched. But you also say that if I delete my account it will delete all the voice data. How do you do this unless there is a mapping from the users table to the voice notes table?
- jaybhum 3y agoSo when user deletes the app, it sends two separate messages to AWS: one to the Cognito which stores the user ID and email, and one to the Dynamo database that has user data linked to the anonymized ID. The data are deleted independently, and upon receiving the success message from both of them, the account is fully deleted. That way, the user data in Dynamo DB does not have to know what is happening in Cognito.
