I just went through this struggle myself when my girlfriend's fitbit charge (2?) finally bit the dust after years of abuse and rough handling.
It seems the market has moved on and your only options are smartwatch-lite gadgets for a good deal more than the fitness focused devices used to run. A damn shame.
