I don’t think people understand how cheap people in Ukraine, Poland and other countries are willing to work if companies go fully remote.
- Nasrudith 3y agoThat argument always gets used as a threat which makes no sense. Outsourcing has been a thing for decades. If they were remotely serious they would have done so already and reaped the premiums. They don't so the only response is to put up or shut up, and they sure aren't putting up.
- throwaway5959 3y agoBefore they could have people in the office to manage. Now that developers appear to refuse to show up, what’s the difference? Do you think there aren’t talented devs in Ukraine, South America, or Poland?
