Actually, nonsense interview is another red flag to watch out for when applying a job. Some companies uses long and pointless interviews to discover and collect legally sound reasons to reject candidates without revealing the true reason of rejections (could be based on race, gender, age, disability, religion etc). But, you probably don't want to work for a bad company anyway, so I guess just be happy for the fact that now you don't have to.
