How does the transactor represent a single point of failure? Would it be possible to have two transactors?
- pron 15y agoBut then wouldn't they need to coordinate changes to the same data items? (I'm not too familiar with the Datomic transaction model) If so, making transactors scale would require sharding.
- drcode 15y agoNo, the datomic videos suggest only one transactor can be operational at a time. Not sure how hard it would be to "switch over" to a second transactor waiting in the wings.
