- DarkNova6 3y agoWhile a good idea in theory, ESG and DEI have no democratic control or legitimacy. It is a scheme which is invented by banks and ultimately serves the banks. Theoretically they can change the rules at any moment and assert influence over companies. And like some ISO security certificates, it tends to spread and force adjacent companies to comply as well, just to make business with esg companies. I don’t like the conservatives one bit, but I can’t condemn this move either. These labels are just a scam.
