I thought that young people sorta let down the Democrats as they didn't seem to vote in droves as anticipated. Support yes but not voting when it counted.

I thought that young people sorta let down the Democrats as they didn't seem to vote in droves as anticipated. Support yes but not voting when it counted.
- jfengel 3y agoIndeed. The young have always had poor turnout. They demand change, and get frustrated that it doesn't come quickly. I find that aggravating, because they don't seem to notice just how easily they can lose the changes that have already come. The two parties are not equal. One is often diametrically opposed to their interests. The other may not be able to give them everything they want -- that's the nature of political compromise. Without that compromise, they'll get less-than-nothing. They'll lose some of what they already have. That fact has never been clearer than right now, so I just don't know what to tell them.
