My Big Regrettable Lockdown Project was to use Golay codes to try to get a bit more range from cheap non-LoRa RF modules. I didn't really find anything else suitable for the chips I'd be using, that was easy enough to implement and optimize without real math skillz. I copied the code from Wireshark, but I remember it needed some work for 8 bit chips or something.
