- ben_w 3y agoDoesn't need to be the USA directly, it could be anywhere in europe where Meta has assets. I'm also not sure if the courts in the US default to cooperating in such situations; I seem to remember something about Congress passing a law saying that Americans didn't need to pay fines for (libel?) imposed by (UK courts?) or something like that, suggesting that such was the default before then.
