Overreach: OCBC mobile banking app now polices your phone
- Firmwarrior 3y agoWow, that's annoying.. I'm surprised a random bank app gets permission to view a list of all the installed apps on the device though
- jaclaz 3y agoI had never heard of this OCBC bank, I thought at first it was a small local bank, but it is a rather large Singapore bank: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OCBC_Bank https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OCBC_Bank among the best rated in the Asian area. So, presumably, this new "enforced policy" is likely to affect millions of customers (and android devices).
