I’m Im still running a sandy bridge i7-2600k on a workbench/electronic hobby/3d printing area PC. Runs all the applications I use or need for tinkering around. Bought it back in 2011 as part of a gaming pc I built. Then transferred the CPU into a mini-itx motherboard and case, so I could mount it under the workbench. Along with that, I have a 2011 sandy bridge mac mini running ubuntu server and about 8 containers. (Including cloudflare tunnel and wireguard). I’m going to squeeze as much as I can out of them. At least until there is no OS support for either.
