He is pretty open about the new era he wants to usher via the WEF. I'm no fan of either Schwab or the WEF but to lump them in with fascism is just plain nuts.
- mschuster91 3y agoWhat is the WEF, other than a glorified think tank? Besides, the Western world (or at least, the idea of societies based on democracy and rule of law) is in decline anyway, with Africa and even some of our own sphere's countries (Poland, Hungary, Turkey, the UK and US) drifting closer and closer towards authoritarianism (and some like China and Russia having jumped there already). Personally, I'm more afraid of that and the consequences (e.g. the current Russian invasion of Ukraine and the looming threat of Chinese expansionism, or the very real threat of yet another pandemic, not to mention climate change) instead of a guy who's running a fancy meetup.
