My 2500k could go up to 4.9 but the juice eventually lead to some massive degradation. It lasted me for 8 years until I jumped to a 3700x and now a 5800x3d. I like the performance but my next CPU is going to be 65w again. These things are hot. But not hot enough to jump on a 7800x3d. Funny how the best gaming CPU is 65w but the best GPU is about 8 times that. Heat and noise are important
