Zoom has “Zoom fatigue,” requires workers to return to the office
- damnesian 3y agoWell it's the same caste of entitled individuals in charge as in the majority of tech businesses, who can't be bothered to stretch themselves, they need to be catered to or they get upset.
- postalrat 3y agoGive them a break. Dealing with traffic sucks and they would rather be home with their friends and family.
- dv_dt 3y agoSeems like an unnecessary & self-inflicted wound to put out that zoom doesn't want to run remote on zoom.
- cyanydeez 3y agoGuess dogfooding ain't for everyone
- octokatt 3y agoThis. The move to forced hybrid is most likely to cause turnover to prevent layoffs and save money on severance. A valid, if dickish, move, except they're telling people to use their product less. But they're a remote work software company. If they're projecting they can't make it work, a lot of smaller companies may do the same. Or at least stop investing in Zoom and settle for mediocre Microsoft Teams.
