The only things that matter in a listing (to me) are:
- make
- model
- color(s)
- condition (per KBB (or similar) standards)
- number of miles
- size of engine
- number of seats (if there's a variation within a certain model)
- type of transmission and drive train (auto/stick and fwd/rwd/awd/4x4)
- price
- any/all extra fees the dealer is going to add (beyond state-/locality-mandated taxes/registration/etc)
- any known issues (CarFax report, previous owner maintenance history (if single owner and/or always serviced at the same dealer), etc)
- link to manufacturer specs for the given model
Beyond that ... I need to actually test drive a vehicle before deciding to buy it: I filter on make(s), model(s), mileage, and price
Once I have my list, I go check each one that's fitting those initial criteria before making a final Buy/No-Buy decision
