- user_7832 3y agoAs the other commenter linked, it generally refers to "developing"/underdeveloped countries. Aka, countries with lower per capita GDP.

- 5350-uiop-1130 3y agoglobal north = anglo/scandi nations and the honorary westerners (israel, japan, s-korea, singapore) global south is everyone else.
