Facial recognition in policing is unethical, authoritarian, prone to abuse in the first place - don't need to bring race into it.
- mikrotikker 3y agoExactly there was a Netflix doco a while back showing the struggle of black people to get recognised by facial recognition. I couldn't help but feel that they were advocating for their own oppression and the conspiracy theorist in me wondered if it was a ploy by some three letter agency.
- stormfather 3y agoYeah I'm pretty sure this is actually racism against pale people. I would love to be camouflaged against the surveillance state!
