I like the translate idea, but it should be either interspersed lines or at the sentence level completion. Otherwise it will require the writer to go back and un-translate the text to fix mistakes. Another thought is to offering completion of multiple translations, for a particular sentiment. Overall, providing some text services independent of the program (spelling/grammer, translate, etc) would be useful.
