It is ironic. It's true that work isn't accomplished over Zoom. More generically, it's not accomplished by meetings. What does being in-office accomplish other than face-to-face meeting? Zoom is a replacement for face-to-face meeting, but they themselves want to meet face-to-face. Hence the irony.
