I’m not even sure this essay is good for those folks. My spouse regularly spends time with managers and executives at their company, and since the pandemic started it’s become clear that it’s pretty much the same for them. I also offer that it’s entirely acceptable that “I don’t have time” means “there’s no time”, and sometimes it means “I’m not going to take the time”.
