With kids going to school, working from home is definitely better to handle the unpredictability that comes with it. I have about a one hour commute to do (one way) to get to the office. I'd live closer if I could afford it, but it is what it is. While I worked at the office, having a sick kid meant I had to call the entire day off, now I can simply keep him at home or go pick him up in 10 minutes and resume my day. Productivity and stress-wise, WFH is definitely better.
