Solar Battery Statistics – Day One

As soon as the price of hybrid inverters comes down and batter storage is no longer dependent on having multiple KWh of lithium ion batteries sitting unattended I'll be more than happy go for a solution like this. For now I have ample solar here and we have netmetering so it just isn't a consideration yet but even with netmetering I'd love to just stop consuming grid power at night so overall fossil fuel consumption would go down. The bigger problem that then remains is that during the winter months you'll be using grid power anyway because there just isn't enough sun.
