There's an elephant in the room, and that entails the fact that humans do not need sex or masturbation or genital stimulation to be content and live a marvelous life; they do not need intercourse or sex or nudity to have intimate friendships and fulfillment from relationships with others. I feel like therapy could be successful, and more productive, if clients with sexual dysfunction, intimacy issues, loneliness, etc. could be led to find contentment and joy in their life circumstances, rather than attempting to fill it up with prostitution (yeah, methinks the author doth protest too much.)
