The problem with debuggers is that some programmers find them absolutely necessary to their workflow and they don't get that some of us simply don't. I use debuggers sparingly, I think they can help in some cases but most of the time I feel much better reading code and traces. Especially when debugging difficult async code. Being condescending with coders who have different habits than yours is the issue. There is no "one true way" of doing things, even in our beloved craft.
