Any and All references to Bacon lead to my favorite pop culture guide aka Pulp Fiction
Vincent (John Travolta):
Want some bacon?
Jules(Samuel L Jackson):
No man, I don't eat pork.
Vincent (John Travolta):
Are you Jewish?
Jules(Samuel L Jackson):
Nah, I ain't Jewish, I just don't dig on swine, that's all.
Vincent (John Travolta):
Why not?
Jules(Samuel L Jackson):
Pigs are filthy animals. I don't eat filthy animals.
Vincent (John Travolta):
Bacon tastes gooood. Pork chops taste gooood.
Jules(Samuel L Jackson):
Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy motherf*er. Pigs sleep and root in sht. That's a filthy animal. I ain't eat nothin' that ain't got enough sense enough to disregard its own feces.
Vincent (John Travolta):
How about a dog? Dogs eats its own feces.
Jules(Samuel L Jackson):
I don't eat dog either.
Vincent (John Travolta):
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal?
Jules(Samuel L Jackson):
I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
Vincent (John Travolta):
Ah, so by that rationale, if a pig had a better personality, he would cease to be a filthy animal. Is that true?
Jules(Samuel L Jackson):
Well we'd have to be talkin' about one charmin' motherf**in' pig. I mean he'd have to be ten times more charmin' than that Arnold on Green Acres, you know what I'm sayin'?
- darkclouds 3y agoDomesticated animals are always easier to eat than wild animals. Domesticated animals will sleep and root in shit. Whats the difference between a factory farm and a govt's policy on homeless people rooting through trash and eating left overs from it?
- myshpa 3y ago> Pigs sleep and root in sht Because we force them to. We've domesticated the most docile and gentle animals, and they all have their personalities. There's not much difference between a dog and a pig; oh, pigs might be smarter. "What I am confident of is that right now we’re on the wrong side of history and that future generations will look back at videos like these and be baffled that nice people like us could blindly tolerate such systematized cruelty toward intelligent if cantankerous fellow mammals not so different from us." I've ate my share of bacon. Al-Maari wrote this 1000 years ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Ma%27arri https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Ma%27arri "Do not unjustly eat fish the water has given up, and do not desire as food the flesh of slaughtered animals, Or the white milk of mothers who intended its pure draught for their young, not for noble ladies. And do not grieve the unsuspecting birds by taking their eggs; for injustice is the worst of crimes. And spare the honey which the bees get industriously from the flowers of fragrant plants; For they did not store it that it might belong to others, nor did they gather it for bounty and gifts. I washed my hands of all this; and wish that I had perceived my way before my hair went gray! "
