Very well, I can see it working. Hopefully I'll get to have a used one at a reasonable price. Less than 3kUSD is a fairly wide range. If the demo videos show it remotely close to reality of the thing it's pretty promising. I personally can't wait to be able to finally bend my neck back on the couch cushion and keep writing/watching etc. I actually considered installing a mirror on the ceiling to see the monitor, but then I have to move the monitor too...
