I was first introduced to Vim from a Jeffrey Way tutorial about HTML5 way back in 2010 or maybe 2008 when first learning about programming. Ever since then I've used Vim throughout my career, even somehow convincing others to use it too. I've been using neovim for the last 5 years but can still hop on a colleagues machine or into a server and still be productive. Easily the most important piece of software I've ever used in my life, since it has allowed me to make a living. RIP Bram Moolenaar.
